Today the plant generates up to 600 m³ of biomethane, that is injected into the gas grid every hour of every day. Furthermore, a 500 kW CHP provides power for parasitic load on site and export to National Grid. Collectively, this is done sustainably and in cooperation with the local agricultural community.
One of the first Anaerobic Digestion plants in the UK to inject gas into the gas grid, today the plant generates in excess of 800 m³ of biomethane every hour. In addition, a 500 kW CHP is run on Biogas which provides all the power needed on site and even exports a bit to the National Electricity Grid. This is all done sustainably and in partnership with the local agricultural community.
